With the attention and direction of TKV, the comprehensive direction of the Company's Party Committee and the synchronous coordination of the Trade Union and Youth Union organizations, along with the determination and efforts of the collective of officers, employees and workers united and unanimous in the spirit of "discipline and unity", the Company overcame difficulties, closely implemented the production and business plan and achieved encouraging results, successfully completed the assigned tasks with 4 objectives. general criteria of safety, solidarity, development and efficiency.

In 2024, the number of occupational accidents and safety violations decreased compared to 2023. In particular, 2024 is the second consecutive year that the Company has maintained occupational safety and hygiene and has not had any serious occupational accidents causing death.

In 2025, the world situation continues to have many complicated fluctuations, the conflict situation in some regions is still tense, especially the Russia - Ukraine war has a great impact on the global economy - politics, affecting the coal market and increasing the prices of input materials. The demand for domestic coal, especially coal for electricity production is high and the impact of climate change, the weather has many extreme fluctuations, directly affecting the production and business activities of the Company. The production conditions of the Company are expected to face many difficulties.
In that spirit, to complete the set plan, Nam Mau Coal Company - TKV determined that it is necessary to mobilize all resources, tighten discipline, discipline in management and organize flexible production. Continue to innovate, apply new advanced modern technology, mechanization, automation, computerization, digital transformation in production and operation to improve working conditions, save labor, increase labor productivity and improve income and welfare for workers. Promote investment, digging tunnels to prepare for production, digging tunnels to develop and expand open production from -50 to -200 to serve the long-term plan for the period 2026 - 2030. Strengthen the management of coal quality produced, processed and consumed to increase revenue, continue to aim for the common goal of "Safety - Solidarity - Development - Efficiency".

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Truong Thanh Hoai, on behalf of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, congratulated the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group on its achievements in 2024, despite the difficulties caused by storm No. 3 (Yagi) directly affecting the operations of the Group as well as Nam Mau Coal Company - TKV. All of the Company's targets exceeded the assigned plan, especially the Company has successfully maintained production, coal mining output and ensured income and health of workers.
Deputy Minister Truong Thanh Hoai acknowledged the achievements in 2024 of Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group and Nam Mau Coal Company - TKV despite the difficulties faced.
The Deputy Minister emphasized that safety plays an extremely important role in the coal industry. With the current conditions of increasingly deep mines, increasing difficulty and lurking dangers, the Deputy Minister hopes that TKV Group in general and Nam Mau Coal Company - TKV in particular will continue to maintain the work of ensuring production safety for workers, considering it a top priority, along with proactively preventing and stopping all possible risks, especially during the upcoming Lunar New Year.
In the context of the country's energy demand in the coming time being very large, affirming that the coal industry is the "backbone" of national energy, providing necessary minerals for electricity production, the Deputy Minister requested the Department of Oil, Gas and Coal to consider taking charge of coal planning to soon have plans to explore and increase reserves to maximize available resources, and at the same time request TKV to pay attention to implementing investment and increasing annual exploitation capacity.
