Disciplinary action against former Chairman of Phu Yen Provincial People's Committee Pham Dinh Cu

Specifically, the Prime Minister decided to discipline Mr. Pham Dinh Cu by removing him from the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Yen province for the 2011-2016 term due to violations and shortcomings in his work, and the Secretariat has disciplined him in terms of party discipline.

* At the 37th session, the Central Inspection Commission considered the proposal of the Phu Yen Provincial Party Executive Committee on disciplinary action against violating party members.

The Central Inspection Commission found that comrade Pham Dinh Cu, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Yen province, had degraded his political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle, violated regulations on what party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks, causing very serious consequences, public outrage, and negatively affecting the reputation of the Party organization and local state management agencies.

Pursuant to Party regulations, the Central Inspection Committee proposed that the Secretariat consider and discipline comrade Pham Dinh Cu.

On April 9, the Secretariat decided to discipline Mr. Pham Dinh Cu by expelling him from the Party, and at the same time requested that competent authorities promptly and consistently enforce administrative discipline in line with Party discipline.
