At the 2023 World Cup, the Vietnamese women's team is among the most physically disadvantaged teams. Specifically, the average height of the 23 Vietnamese female players is 1m61, just above Zambia (1m59).

The tallest player of the Vietnamese women's team is goalkeeper Dao Thi Kieu Oanh, 1m70. Meanwhile, the shortest players of the Vietnamese women's team are Ngan Thi Van Su and Duong Thi Van, both 1m50 tall. Striker Huynh Nhu is only 1m58 tall.

Vietnamese players have modest physiques.
