These festivals are not only an occasion for people to pray for favorable weather and bountiful crops, but also a unique space for cultural exchange, preserving precious traditional values.
The festive atmosphere filled the air with bustling bamboo dances and lion dances, combined with the vibrant colors of flags and traditional costumes. In particular, folk games such as throwing con, tug of war, blindfolded goat catching, etc. attracted a large number of people and tourists to participate, creating a joyful and bustling atmosphere.

The highlight of this year's spring festival season in Thai Nguyen is the careful and thorough preparation from the organization stage, especially the work of ensuring security, traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting to environmental sanitation. Localities have established festival organizing committees, assigned specific tasks to each unit, and at the same time, stepped up propaganda to raise awareness of people and tourists in maintaining order and sanitation in public places.
Mr. Nguyen Van Ban, Permanent Vice Chairman of Phu Binh District People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of Cau Muoi Temple - Temple - Pagoda Festival : "The District People's Committee has directed specialized departments and offices to concentrate and well implement the preparation work so that the festival season takes place safely and joyfully. We want to create the best conditions for people and tourists from all over to visit and experience the famous spiritual tourist destination of Phu Binh District; at the same time, learn about the unique historical and cultural values of the Cau Muoi relic cluster and other relics in the district".
Especially during this year's festival season, according to our records, there was no gambling or disguised folk games. Colonel Dao The Hung, Deputy Director of Thai Nguyen Provincial Police, said: "To ensure good security and order at the festivals, we have coordinated with localities, levels and sectors from propaganda to human management to promptly handle arising problems. Especially at this year's festivals, the authorities focused on criminals of disguised gambling and superstition to ensure that people and tourists have a safe festival season."

The spring festival season is not only an opportunity to preserve and promote traditional cultural values, but also an opportunity for Thai Nguyen to promote tourism development, contributing to local economic growth. During this Tet holiday, Thai Nguyen welcomed a total of 286,000 visitors, an increase of 43% over the same period in 2024; revenue from tourism activities is estimated at 100.1 billion VND, an increase of 66.8%. Famous tourist destinations such as ATK Dinh Hoa Historical Site or Tan Cuong tea area recorded a sudden increase in the number of visitors during this time.
Ms. Ha Thi Hai Yen, a tourist from Bac Giang , shared: I am very impressed with the festival atmosphere in Thai Nguyen. Everything is very thoughtfully organized, from cultural and artistic activities to tourism services. In particular, Thai Nguyen people are very friendly and hospitable...
Trade promotion activities and local product promotion are also cleverly integrated into the framework of festivals. Booths displaying OCOP products, Thai Nguyen tea specialties, handicrafts, etc. not only introduce tourists to the cultural beauty of the region but also create opportunities to promote product consumption and support local economic development.
With careful preparation, methodical organization and unique cultural features, Thai Nguyen has become a highlight in this year's spring festival season. Not only is it a place to preserve traditional values, spring festivals are also a bridge for Thai Nguyen to promote its image, attract tourists and promote local economic - cultural - social development.
