On December 5, at Lam Vien Square (Da Lat City, Lam Dong), the opening ceremony of the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival 2024 took place with the theme Da Lat Flowers - Symphony of Colors. THACO is the main sponsor of the program.
Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister of the Government, leaders of Lam Dong province, Da Lat city and tens of thousands of tourists and local people. THACO representative, General Director Pham Van Tai attended the program.
In his opening speech, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh emphasized: The 10th Da Lat Flower Festival continues to affirm and honor the values of flowers and floriculture; creating opportunities for the Da Lat flower industry to connect, spread, and develop with the tourism industry, cultural industry and international integration, making an important contribution to the socio-economic development of Lam Dong province. This festival continues to affirm Da Lat city as the Flower Festival city of Vietnam, a typical festival of the poetic highland city, a creative city in the field of Music of UNESCO and a city in the Group of 5 impressive Festival cities of Asia.
This is not only a festival for the ethnic people of Lam Dong province but also an opportunity for domestic and international tourists to meet and experience the unique cultural and tourism values of Da Lat. Thereby, contributing to the province's goal of welcoming the 10 millionth tourist by the end of this year, promoting the stronger development of the special agricultural economy associated with tourism and conservation of heritage and nature in Lam Dong province.
At the opening ceremony, THACO General Director Pham Van Tai received flowers and a logo from Lam Dong Provincial Leaders for his contributions to the success of the program.
Through the event, THACO hopes to contribute to promoting tourism and local image, while adding motivation and strength to build a prosperous life for Lam Dong people.
| This year, the festival is held across the province, lasting from now until December 31, 2024 with new, unique, and diverse cultural and artistic events of national and international significance, to honor the Da Lat flower industry, the cultural and humanistic values of Lam Dong people.
