THACO AGRI holds Conference to Deploy 2024 Plan

From January 24 to February 1, THACO AGRI and its affiliated units including Pig Breeding Corporation, Trung Nguyen Beef Company, Hoang Anh Dak Lak Company, CAT Cao Nguyen Company, and Agricultural Complexes held a Conference to Deploy the 2024 Plan.

THACO AGRI - Focus on management

On January 31, in Gia Lai, THACO AGRI held a conference to deploy the 2024 plan. Attending the conference were THACO Chairman of the Board of Directors Tran Ba Duong, THACO General Director Pham Van Tai, THACO AGRI General Director Tran Bao Son and more than 380 personnel, including leaders of KLHs and Corporations, affiliated companies; functional departments/offices of THACO, THACO AGRI, HAGL AGRICO, THADICO, THADICONS A&I, THILOGI at the Gia Lai Office and KLHs/Corporations/Companies.

Reporting at the conference, Mr. Tran Bao Son - General Director of THACO AGRI said: In 2024, THACO AGRI will continue to focus on developing crop and livestock production. Specifically, the newly planted banana area is more than 7,200; newly planted 350 hectares of pineapple; the total herd of cows in 2024 is planned to increase to more than 150,000; the total area of fruit trees combined with cattle breeding is 7,100 hectares; the area of rubber care and harvesting is more than 9,500 hectares; the total herd of pigs is more than 136,600; in terms of animal feed production and trading, the production quantity is 120,000 tons.

In addition, in 2024, THACO AGRI will invest in an agricultural mechanical equipment manufacturing factory at Koun Mom Industrial Zone, Snuol Industrial Zone and HAGL Agrico Industrial Zone in Laos. Invest in a plastic materials manufacturing factory and a paper packaging manufacturing factory at Snuol Industrial Zone.

Directing at the Conference, THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong emphasized: In 2023, THACO AGRI has introduced an integrated and circular crop and livestock production model. 2024 is a very important year, a pivotal year for THACO AGRI, so it is necessary to focus on investing in banana cultivation and developing cattle herds; in human resources work, it is necessary to train and coach to form a responsible workforce; change in the activities of specialized professional departments, focusing on technical aspects, disease control and prevention, breed development, and plant protection. In addition, it is necessary to boost output and revenue at the three KLHs Koun Mom, Snuol and KLH Laos to gain a foothold in the international market... This year, THACO AGRI will focus on management, especially recruitment, appointment, training, and coaching to have a leadership and management force in management of all aspects related to crop production and livestock breeding.

At the Conference, in order to recognize the efforts in production and business and encourage the spirit of employees, THACO AGRI rewarded 5 collectives and 14 individuals with outstanding achievements in 2023.

Pig Breeding Corporation, Ia Puch Livestock Corporation, Trung Nguyen Beef Company, Hoang Anh Dak Lak Company and CAT Cao Nguyen Company: Set strong growth targets in 2024

On January 27, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Pig Breeding Corporation held a Conference to Deploy the 2024 Plan. According to the report, in 2023, the total number of pigs will be 58,042, the output of pigs for sale will reach 115,306; the output of animal feed will be 84,215 tons, the output of sales will reach 55,772 tons.

At the Conference, the Pig Breeding Corporation set a strong growth target in 2024. Accordingly, in terms of pig production and business, the total number of pigs will increase to more than 181,000. It is expected that by 2027, the total number of pigs will reach 618,585.

Regarding animal feed production, the Corporation's production output will increase to 120,000 tons. It is expected that by 2027, animal feed production output will reach 439,600 tons.

Next, on February 1, KLH Ia Puch organized a Conference to Deploy the 2024 Plan of Trung Nguyen Beef Company, Hoang Anh Dak Lak Company and CAT Cao Nguyen Company.

According to the report at the Conference, in 2024, Trung Nguyen Beef Company will increase the total herd of cows to 52,991; increase the grass area and forestry tree planting area to 1,594 hectares and 315 hectares respectively; TMR feed production will increase to 361,942 tons.

For Hoang Anh Dak Lak Company, it is expected to increase the total number of cows in 2024; plant, care for and harvest grass on 1,445 hectares; plant and care for forestry trees on 266 hectares; invest in building 39.5 km of roads, irrigation lakes, dams, warehouses, food processing centers, etc.

It is expected that by 2024, CAT Cao Nguyen Company will have a durian area of 476.3 hectares; in terms of traffic infrastructure, it will build 80km of roads including factory roads, main roads, and cultivation roads; in terms of irrigation, it will invest in 01 irrigation lake and irrigation pumping station, 04 water wells; build 05 houses for employees, 02 durian packing factories, 01 sports area and a growing garden.

Snuol Complex: 5 goals to aim for in 2024

In 2023, KLH Snuol converted all workers (day labor, contract labor) to sign direct labor contracts with the Company. In 2024, KLH Snuol set 5 goals: Focus on crop production activities, especially banana trees; Continue to care for and exploit rubber effectively; Build 27 cattle farms; Promote industrial production to serve the needs of construction investment, increase machinery, equipment, mechanics, and agricultural mechanization; Synchronously plan and build employee housing, offices, and utilities at the factory according to a closed model to serve the social security life of workers.

KLH Koun Mom: Expected to develop herd size to 34,614 cows

In 2023, KLH Koun Mom converted all Meka workers to permanent workers; built 100 new-style houses for workers; 16 houses for employees; 01 head office at Lot 94, Business and Logistics Operations Office at Lot 104; built 17 traffic works in the project, 24 power stations; 14 lakes; 01 water canal; 7.5km of irrigation canal (Lumphats 4.5km, Andong Meas 3km); 1 concrete mixing station; 10 cow breeding farms....

In 2024, KLH Koun Mom plans to promote banana, mango and grapefruit cultivation; build 725 houses on the farm; 2 packaging factories; 5 offices; synchronously invest in 07 banana factories; plan 02 mango factories. KLH HAGL AGRICO Laos is currently promoting banana cultivation, planning to plant 2,284 hectares of new land in 2024; focusing on investing in technical infrastructure; investing in works on land serving banana cultivation.

For other fruit tree production, the mango growing area is expected to reach 313 hectares; the grapefruit growing area is 100 hectares.
