The provincial Department of Fisheries in coordination with the provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha has just released 6,000 fish fry of various types including silver carp, grass carp, catfish, common carp... to supplement and regenerate aquatic resources at Tram Tra Loc eco-tourism area, Hai Hung commune, Hai Lang district.
Head of the provincial Fisheries Department Phan Huu Thang said that releasing fish fry to regenerate aquatic resources is a meaningful activity, organized annually by the unit to raise awareness and sense of responsibility of organizations and individuals inside and outside the fisheries sector, and the social community to participate in releasing fish fry to regenerate aquatic resources, supplement aquatic resources to natural water bodies, and at the same time launch a movement for the entire population to participate in protecting, restoring and regenerating aquatic resources.

In the coming days, the provincial Fisheries Department will continue to release over 12,000 fish fry of various types into the province's dams. These are areas where aquatic species can easily survive, have the ability to recover, regenerate, and gradually restore the coastal aquatic resources to become more abundant and diverse.
Along with releasing fish fry to regenerate aquatic resources, the Department of Fisheries calls on people not to use electric shock, explosives, chemicals, fishing gears and nets on the prohibited list to exploit aquatic resources; strictly comply with the Law on Fisheries and current legal regulations, be responsible and actively participate in combating illegal exploitation.
