Joining hands to create a sustainable future for Vietnam through investing in the young generation

Investing in people, especially the young generation of Vietnam - a developing country, training and sharing the right orientation is considered to bring much greater value than just financial support. That is also the motivation for more than 3 years, in the strategy of implementing Shinhan Life's community responsibility programs in Vietnam, the company has focused more on initiatives related to training, equipping skills and knowledge to help young people confidently step into the future.

Among the initiatives that Shinhan Life Vietnam Insurance Company has implemented effectively, it is worth mentioning the S-Career career guidance program in cooperation with the career guidance education company SIF Career. The program equips high school students with knowledge and useful tools to gradually discover their potential, helping them to "Choose the right major - Do the right job" - an important step for them to be more successful in the future. In particular, S-Career also provides effective tools and methods for teachers so that they can proactively support students in their future career orientation. It is known that this practical program has reached nearly 1,400 students and more than 150 teachers in the first year of implementation.

Previously, the long-term cooperation program between Shinhan Life and SOS Children's Village Vietnam with many activities, from donating learning equipment, sponsoring facility upgrades, to equipping career orientation skills for the Village's youth, was also highly appreciated by the community. In particular, the iLead education program was implemented by Shinhan Life in collaboration with BNJ Vietnam Consulting and Training Company for the youth of SOS Children's Village Vietnam in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang. The program not only equips the children with skills and knowledge, but also provides opportunities for skill training, internships and future employment at the company for those with suitable aspirations and abilities.

Along with long-term initiatives focusing on the youth generation, Shinhan Life also pays special attention to children, the future buds of the country. Notably, the program of giving away more than 50,000 free "Shinhan - An Binh" insurance contracts - a leukemia insurance product for children, has been implemented annually since 2022. Next, the activity of supporting treatment costs for children with leukemia in difficult circumstances at Ho Chi Minh City Children's Hospital with a total hospital fee support of up to 600 million VND in the past 3 years, has lit up the hope of returning to normal life for many children.

From commitment to continuous efforts over the past 3 years, Shinhan Life Vietnam was recently honored to receive the title of Enterprise for the Community at the CSR Enterprise Honor Ceremony organized by Saigon Economic Magazine.
