Along with the attention and dedication to researching cultural experiences in Vinh Long area, recently there is a project to build a 5-star yacht named Mekong Lover by Focus Travel Group: Mekong Lover will not only be a simple tourist yacht, but also a cultural resort space.

The ship's design details are inspired by Indochinese architectural style, expressed through wood carvings, arched windows, and hand-crafted ceramic tiles, reminiscent of ancient villas in Saigon, Hanoi and Phnom Penh.

Some of the interior design features are inspired by the ancient house of Huynh Thuy Le (Sa Dec) - the place associated with the story of female writer Marguerite Duras, creating a space that is both nostalgic and luxurious.

In the travel industry, there is a common opinion that Vinh Long is a locality with many advantages to build products that go into cultural depth. We are very happy with this opinion, but what must we do to make those advantages truly become cultural tourism products at a high level?

Vinh Long is facing that opportunity, especially with cruise tours on the Mekong River, but whether we can proactively seize that opportunity is the important issue. Not far away, the Mekong River will become bustling but with luxury cruises going back and forth and what must we do to make these luxury cruises anchor for a long time on the Co Chien River so that tourists can enjoy and experience more of the local culture of Vinh Long.
