(DN) - On July 6, Vinh Cuu District Police are temporarily detaining the following subjects: Nguyen Quang Hung (42 years old, residing in KP.4, Trang Dai Ward, Bien Hoa City), Huynh Nguyen Quoc Cuong (27 years old) and Nguyen Huu Phuc (31 years old), all residing in Ho Chi Minh City, to investigate the act of storing and organizing illegal use of drugs.
Previously, at 3:00 a.m. on June 27, Vinh Cuu District Police caught Hung, Cuong, Phuc and 5 other subjects (including 4 women) illegally using drugs at PH motel in Hieu Liem commune, Vinh Cuu District. Through rapid testing, the police determined that 7/8 subjects tested positive for drugs.
Searching Cuong and Hung's room, the police seized 20 synthetic drug pills; 41 packages of crystal meth; 2 pistols and 4 bullets. The subjects initially confessed that they bought the drugs from Cambodia for personal use.
Currently, Vinh Cuu District Police are continuing to investigate and handle related subjects according to the provisions of law.
