The team of reporters and propagandists are the core in propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and at the same time are the bridge between the Party committee, the government and the people. Simacai district always pays attention to building this team in sufficient quantity and gradually improving its quality.
Recently, we had the opportunity to go with Lung Than commune officials to Nang Cang village to propagate and mobilize people to participate in local movements and activities. The propaganda session took place in a joyful and open atmosphere, attracting representatives of more than 100 households to attend. This is a monthly activity of Nang Cang village officials at the village cultural house.
Mr. Giang Seo Nha, Secretary of the Nang Cang Village Party Cell and grassroots propagandist of Lung Than Commune, said that before each monthly Party cell meeting and village meeting, the Party cell committee carefully prepares the propaganda content provided by the higher-level Party committee, and flexibly applies it to solve outstanding and topical issues in the locality.
When implementing each specific task on the Party's policies and resolutions, the State's policies and laws, we always encourage everyone to dialogue and express their opinions to have multi-dimensional information, helping listeners understand and grasp the issue more quickly. In the conversations, we also incorporate propaganda and mobilize people to change their thinking and working methods in production, increasing family income.
Thanks to the flexible propaganda of grassroots propagandists, in 2023, the people of Nang Cang village donated nearly 8,000 m2 of land (worth more than 245 million VND) to expand rural roads. People also boldly converted the structure of crops and livestock, developed temperate fruit trees associated with tourism development (planting Tai Nung pears and Ta Van plums with a total area of 260 hectares; in 2023 alone, 17 tons of plums and 376 tons of pears were harvested, equivalent to nearly 4 billion VND), thereby helping many households get rich.
In recent times, to improve the effectiveness of oral propaganda, Simacai has had many solutions to improve the quality and qualifications of the team of reporters and propagandists. A typical example is the successful organization of the 2023 reporter competition. Through the competition, 18 reporters and propagandists continued to affirm their political mettle, skills, oral propaganda expertise, enthusiasm and responsibility for propaganda work.
As the first prize winner at the 2023 district-level reporter contest, Mr. Thao Phu Pao, Party Committee of San Chai commune shared: The contest is an opportunity for me to study, exchange and draw experiences to improve my qualifications and professional capacity, thereby flexibly applying them to perform my tasks.
Since the beginning of the 2020-2025 term, Si Ma Cai has organized 2 district-level excellent reporter competitions. Through 2 times of organization, it shows that the quality of the participating candidates is quite even, with qualifications, capacity and experience; many candidates have mastered the content and communication methods to attract listeners.
In addition, the Simacai District Party Committee maintains a regular meeting once a month with the team of reporters. During the meeting, the reporters are provided with information on current events at home and abroad, thematic reports, major orientations on ideological work, and at the same time directly reflect the situation and developments in people's ideology in each locality and field of responsibility and have proposals and recommendations to the District Party Committee.
Simacai district currently has 3 provincial-level reporters, 15 district-level reporters and 302 commune-level propagandists. From 2020 to present, the district has organized 26 district-level reporter conferences; 427 commune-level propaganda conferences, attracting more than 26,000 attendees.
Promoting the achieved results, in the coming time, Si Ma Cai district will continue to implement solutions to innovate the awareness and responsibility of Party committees and leaders about the role, position and function of reporters and propagandists, while strengthening professional training, providing information and documents for reporters and propagandists...
