Xa Son village people perform art performances to celebrate the anniversary

On February 22, Xa Son village, Quang Thanh commune (Kinh Mon town) solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 30th anniversary of receiving the title of the province's first cultural village (1995 - 2025) and the opening of the traditional spring festival of At Ty year 2025.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee and many people reviewed the proud journey 30 years ago.

On March 10, 1995, Xa Son village, together with village 5, Ha Le commune, Kim Thi district; Phu Thi village, Me So commune, Chau Giang district (Hung Yen) were honored to receive a certificate of recognition as the first cultural village of the province from the People's Committee of the former Hai Hung province. Xa Son village was honored to be chosen as the venue to receive the certificate of cultural village for the province to learn from.

Xa Son village currently has an area of ​​203 hectares, 1,058 households, 3,588 people. In 2024, the average income per capita here will reach over 80 million VND/person. The rate of cultural families is 88%, the rate of poor households is 0.9%, near-poor households is 1%. The village has many typical examples and models of overcoming difficulties to become rich. Rural roads, intra-field roads, cultural centers, cultural works, historical relic complexes, sports and entertainment areas are being built with attention...

The 30th anniversary of receiving the title of the province's first cultural village took place on the occasion of the traditional festival of Xa Son village in 2025.
