Microsoft Vietnam CEO: The faster an organization adopts AI, the more competitive it will be

DNVN - According to Ms. Nguyen Quynh Tram, General Director of Microsoft Vietnam, in the era of AI, the faster an organization learns and applies AI, the more competitive advantage it will have.

On January 18, Microsoft and technology partners organized the conference "Leading the era of artificial intelligence" for Vietnamese organizations and businesses to explore and anticipate the most advanced artificial intelligence (AI) technology trends and solutions, to enhance business value and accelerate the digital transformation journey in the AI ​​era.

At the conference, Microsoft announced several new Copilot features that enhance the experience for individuals and businesses, including the Copilot Pro premium subscription for individuals, Copilot mobile apps for iOS and Android; and Copilot for Microsoft 365 for small and medium-sized businesses.

The event was held in Ho Chi Minh City, attracting hundreds of businesses to participate.

AI is now growing rapidly in society, bringing huge impacts to the global economy. According to the latest research results of IDC and Microsoft conducted with more than 2,100 businesses in 16 countries around the world on "Business value and opportunities of AI", 71% of organizations are using AI, and about 22% of organizations are not currently using AI but said they plan to deploy it in the next 12 months. Organizations that have deployed AI recorded an 18% increase in customer satisfaction, employee productivity as well as business market share.

For every $1 invested in AI, organizations are seeing an average return of $3.50, with 5% of organizations globally seeing an average return of $8. The study also found that organizations surveyed are prioritizing AI investments. Specifically, 43% of organizations plan to reduce spending in other areas of their business over the next 24 months to reallocate to AI.

While Copilot Pro focuses on the individual experience, Copilot Microsoft 365 is the superior solution for organizations. Copilot for Microsoft 365 has been generally available to large organizations and enterprises since November 2023. Today, Copilot for Microsoft 365 is officially available to all organizations, with no minimum number of users.

By expanding Copilot's availability to even more people, Microsoft continues to provide a great free experience for anyone interested in exploring how Copilot can enhance productivity and creativity.

Copilot GPTs allow users to customize Microsoft Copilot responses to a specific topic of interest. Several Copilot GPTs are rolling out starting today, covering areas such as fitness, travel, cooking, and more.
