DNVN - From 3:00 p.m. on February 20, each liter of gasoline was adjusted to increase by nearly 300 VND, while other types of oil increased and decreased in opposite directions.
During the operating period on February 20, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance decided not to set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for all petroleum products.
Accordingly, E5 RON 92 and RON 95 II gasoline both increased by VND257/liter compared to the current retail price to new prices of VND20,855/liter and VND21,331/liter.
Gasoline price increased by nearly 300 VND/liter from 3:00 p.m. on February 20, 2025.
While kerosene increased by 40 VND/liter to 19,513 VND/liter, fuel oil and diesel oil decreased by 183 VND/kg and 10 VND/liter to 17,596 VND/kg and 19,063 VND/liter, respectively.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the world oil market from February 13-19 was affected by factors such as: cold weather in the US affecting oil supply, Ukraine attacking Russia's oil infrastructure, Israel and Hamas expected to start indirect negotiations on phase 2 of the ceasefire agreement between the two sides, discussions on ending the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine... These factors caused world oil prices in recent days to fluctuate up and down depending on the commodity.
