Attending the opening ceremony were Ms. Mai Huong Giang, Deputy Director of the Press Department, Ministry of Information and Communications of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and Mr. Chrim Chheng Lim, Deputy Director General and Director of the General Administration Department, Ministry of Information of the Kingdom of Cambodia. In addition, there were representatives of the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City and related units.
More than 30 Cambodian journalists attend the course
At the ceremony, Mr. Chrim Chheng Lim, Deputy Director General and Director of the General Administration Department, Ministry of Information of the Kingdom of Cambodia, affirmed: Organizing journalism training courses for Cambodian journalists is very important. He hopes that the Press Department (Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam) will continue to share experiences and knowledge to strengthen and promote the professional capacity of journalists, helping the Cambodian press to access new things quickly and reliably.

Ms. Mai Huong Giang emphasized: "In May last year, we were also very pleased to welcome the Cambodian journalist delegation to attend the Opening Ceremony of the 31st SEA Games held in Vietnam as well as take the delegation to some SEA Games venues for the purpose of exchanging and learning experiences. After the trip, the two sides discussed the next activity, which is very practical; that is, there is a training course for Cambodian journalists on a very current topic: Professional photography skills for the SEA Games; so that next month, you can immediately work for the 32nd SEA Games held in your home country."
Journalist Nguyen Quang Liem ( Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper) exchanges photography techniques with Cambodian journalists
Taking place from April 20 to 24, more than 30 journalists from the Kingdom of Cambodia will be instructed by journalists Nguyen Quang Liem and Nguyen Doc Lap, from Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper and Thanh Nien Newspaper, on operational skills, photo processing and experience at major sporting events, especially the SEA Games, which will take place in Cambodia in May 2023.
