Road 786 will be reviewed and planned to suit the urbanization rate in the coming time.
According to the Department of Transport, according to the plan, DT.786 road has a total length of 45.15km, starting from Trung Nu Vuong street (International intersection) of Tay Ninh city to the border with Long An province, passing through Chau Thanh, Ben Cau, and Trang Bang districts.
Specifically: the section within Tay Ninh city from the International intersection to the border point of Chau Thanh district, about 800m long, planned road width of 34m; the section through Ben Cau district town, about 1.1km long, planned road width of 34m and the section through Moc Bai border gate economic zone urban area, planned road width of 30-60.5m.
The extra-urban sections are planned in Decision No. 78/2007/QD-UBND dated February 7, 2007 on approving the adjustment of the Master Plan for Transport of Tay Ninh Province to 2010 and development orientation to 2020; Decision No. 64/2013/QD-UBND dated December 23, 2023 on approving the Master Plan for Transport of Tay Ninh Province to 2020 and vision to 2030.
The planning of the road boundary of DT.786 is as follows: the section from Tay Ninh city to Km2+500 QL22B (Thanh Dien intersection), is planned as a class II road, with a road boundary of 63m. The section from Km2+500 QL22B (Thanh Dien intersection) to the border with Long An province, is 42.65km long, planned as a minimum standard III, with a road boundary of 45m.
Based on the master plan for traffic and transport in Tay Ninh province until 2020 and vision to 2030 in Decision No. 64/2013/QD-UBND dated December 23, 2023, DT.786 road from the border of Tay Ninh city to Thanh Dien intersection is planned as a class II road, with a road width of 63m (ensuring the scope of road land and road safety corridor land according to regulations in Article 43 of the 2008 Law on Road Traffic).
Currently, the urbanization rate is increasing rapidly, especially the section from the International intersection to Thanh Dien intersection. Taking note of the people's opinions and recommendations, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Transport to advise and propose the Provincial People's Committee to consider and plan this section in accordance with the urbanization rate in the coming time.
