Naval Region 5 Command receives new soldiers to the unit

(BTNO) - On the evening of February 13, Squadron 528, 529, Squadron 512, Brigade 127 carrying new soldiers (CSM) enlisted in 2025 at the Naval Region 5 Command arrived at the Military Region 5 port (Phu Quoc City, Kien Giang Province) after nearly half a day of travel from the mainland to the island.

Ship 528 carries out the mission of transporting CSM from the mainland to the island.

This year, the Naval Region 5 Command was assigned to train CSMs from the provinces of Soc Trang, Ca Mau and Kien Giang.

During the process of screening and selecting young men to join the army, the unit coordinated and collaborated with local Party committees, authorities, units and functional agencies to properly and fully implement the prescribed steps, ensuring strictness, quality and safety.

CSM got on the bus to return to the unit.

Through initial understanding, the vast majority of CSM have good health, clear political background, cultural level as required, peace of mind, and a good understanding of the responsibility of citizens in the duty to protect the Fatherland.

Immediately after CSM set foot on the island, the units quickly received and stabilized the organization and staffing; arranged food, accommodation and living facilities; and at the same time thoroughly grasped some basic regulations so that CSM could gradually get used to the military environment.

According to plan, in the coming days, the Naval Region 5 Command will conduct a health check-up for CSMs before entering official training.
