Head of the delegation Nguyen Duc Anh said: "Sad, certainly sad because everyone wants to win when competing. But the important thing is that we have returned and participated in a tournament that is right for students. As society develops, football also develops. There are more playgrounds for students, we also have more experiences. Thank you Thanh Nien Newspaper for giving us the opportunity to return to the student tournament after many years of not participating. This year's game may not be as expected, but as long as there is approval, we will return."

Mr. Nguyen Duc Anh affirmed that the recent competition days at Thuy Loi University were very meaningful. He confided: "Our teachers and students were filled with tears and were deeply moved when we attended the solemn opening ceremony of the northern region qualifying round, and were immersed in the intense matches of 11-a-side student football that we have not had the opportunity to compete in for so long. We are extremely happy to be back in this exciting playground. A tournament organized by Thanh Nien Newspaper and VFF has opened up a lot of joy for school football."

Coach Nguyen Cong Huy of the Hanoi University of Civil Engineering said: "Our team apologizes to everyone, apologizes to the Organizing Committee for creating an opportunity for the team to return to the 11th grade, but this time the results were not good. We lost both matches and had to stop early. But we are really grateful and tell each other that Thanh Nien Newspaper has brought a spiritual dish, a sumptuous feast for student football, so we will have to try harder. We will do it again, will be more determined to not disappoint the school, the Organizing Committee and the fans. From the reality of this qualifying round, we know where we stand and will consolidate and improve. We will definitely prepare better so that in 2025 the team will make a stronger impression."

Mr. Nguyen Duc Anh confided: "Failure is not the end but the beginning to look forward to the future. Losing a tournament does not mean the end of all hope but it is the motivation to urge us to come back stronger. Where we fall, our team will stand up there and will start working on the next season from now on. We have realized what we are weak at, need to invest more in the future so that if we continue to return, we will be stronger, have a more positive and worthy contribution to the tournament. The prestige and resilience of the Vietnamese Youth Student Football Tournament is so great, the spread in the past few days has really attracted everyone to watch. We are proud to be a part of the tournament and will definitely stand up where we failed".
