With the current temperature, it is not yet time to cancel school. The school and parents should follow the weather forecast at 6am every day to have a plan for the children to cancel school if the temperature allows for a holiday according to regulations.
These past few days, the weather has been cold and windy, so for outdoor subjects like physical education, students have to study in the gymnasium and multi-purpose hall to ensure their health.

Ms. Dao Thi Cuc, Vice Principal of Dong Da Secondary School, Dong Da District, Hanoi, informed: "When students return to school after the holiday, the school reminds parents to dress their children warmly. When children have health problems, parents promptly inform the homeroom teacher.
According to regulations, schools and parents monitor information about the outdoor temperature in the Hanoi area broadcast on the weather forecast bulletin of Vietnam Television (VTV1); Hanoi Radio and Television (channel H1) at 6am every day to proactively adjust school hours or let students take a day off. Preschool and primary school students take a day off when the outdoor temperature is below 10°C. Secondary school students take a day off when the outdoor temperature is below 7°C.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the North will receive another strong cold front in the middle of next week, with the weather turning cold and rainy. Specifically, from February 12 to 16, the southern areas of Son La, Hoa Binh and the Northeast will have light rain, drizzle and scattered fog in the early morning and at night, with cold weather, and some mountainous areas will have severe cold.
North Central and South Central regions from February 13, morning and night will be cold; South Central region from the night of February 10 - 14 will have scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places.
