'Hunting' for cheap tours at Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival

The 19th Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival takes place from April 6 to 9, 2023, co-organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, gathering 120 booths, including nearly 50 booths from provinces and cities, along with tourism service businesses and other units. On this occasion, the booths simultaneously introduce special promotions for April 30 and summer tourism.

"HCMC hopes to continue to coordinate with localities to implement tourism development cooperation activities with many truly attractive and unique tourism products and programs, aiming at two-way exchange of visitors, creating more markets for destinations," said Mr. Duc.

Within the framework of the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival 2023, the expanded Northwestern provinces also organized the festival "Northwest Quintessence Connecting Green Aspiration". Mr. Ha Van Thang, Director of Lao Cai Department of Tourism, acknowledged that the tourism development cooperation program between 8 provinces and Ho Chi Minh City helps the Northwestern provinces expand their search for rich sources of visitors, while connecting the city's tourism market more closely. Through the cooperation program, the 8 provinces can promote and introduce famous destinations to domestic and foreign tourists.

At the Festival, Vietravel launched the 2023 summer promotion program with the message "Summer is as fun as a festival, double the love", applied to tours departing from May 8 to August 31, 2023 with a total program value of 15 billion VND. On the first day, Vietravel recorded nearly 1,300 visitors registering for domestic and international tours, achieving revenue of 16 billion VND.

At BenThanh Tourist's booth, many customers are looking to buy foreign tours. Some tours are discounted by 50% or offer travel gifts exclusively for visitors at the fair.

Young people receive souvenirs and buy discounted tickets at the booth of Ho May Tourist Area.

TST Tourist introduces over 60 tour routes with gifts for all domestic and international tours when visitors make a deposit right at the festival.

Vietluxtour Travel applies a discount of 1 - 1.5 million VND/person for tourists who register to buy tours at the festival, especially for tours within Ho Chi Minh City, the price is reduced by 15%.

A series of "super promotion" programs were announced to meet the travel needs of domestic and foreign tourists.

Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival contributes to introducing the City's unique tourism products and stimulating domestic tourism.
