Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, commented that the above-mentioned surge in revenue is the result of careful orientation and preparation of tours, routes, and products that meet the needs and tastes of the tourism market during the April 30 - May 1 holidays and the summer, including businesses in the city's tourism stimulus alliance.

Saigontourist Travel's booth welcomed 718 visitors registering for tours and products, earning more than 14 billion VND in 4 days with a promotion of an additional 1 million VND discount on Hung King's death anniversary and April 30th tours, 20 million VND discount on Northern Europe tours, Cambodia overland tours priced at 2 million VND, Thailand tours priced at 4.99 million VND and many incentives for more than 300 domestic and international tours departing in the summer.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Man, Director of Communications - Marketing of TST Tourist informed that this unit's booth welcomed more than 5,000 visitors, of which the number of visitors increased sharply on the last day, estimated to reach revenue of 11.4 billion VND.

"Gifts are a catalyst to stimulate customers to book tours and reserve seats to receive gifts and discounts on the last day of promotion. Foreign tours are of great interest to customers, accounting for over 70% compared to domestic tours," said Mr. Man.
