Launching of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's book on the National Assembly

The launching ceremony was jointly organized by the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Central Propaganda Department and the National Political Publishing House Truth.

The book has more than 800 pages, selecting 95 articles, speeches and interviews of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, demonstrating the thinking and strategic vision on building and perfecting the socialist rule-of-law state of Vietnam; reflecting the General Secretary's attention and close attention to innovating the organization and operation of the National Assembly to meet the requirements in the new situation.

The book consists of three parts. The first part is Building and perfecting the Socialist Rule of Law State of Vietnam. This part includes 15 articles, speeches, and interviews by the General Secretary on socialism and the path to socialism in Vietnam; building and perfecting the Socialist Rule of Law State of Vietnam; the relationship between the Party's leadership, the State's management, and the people's mastery; innovating the organization and operation of a number of institutions in the Rule of Law State...

Part two on Innovation in the organization and operation of the National Assembly, includes 80 articles by the General Secretary on the innovation and development journey of the Vietnamese National Assembly, especially during his time as Chairman of the National Assembly, directly directing the research to amend and promulgate the 2013 Constitution.

The third part is the trust, support, consensus and affection of cadres, people and international friends towards General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. This part selects 57 typical opinions of cadres, party members, dignitaries, intellectuals, National Assembly deputies and voters, expressing their perspectives, thoughts and feelings towards the leadership and direction of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh, Head of the Editorial Team, said that the book has summarized achievements in the development of theories on socialism and the path to socialism. These are the contents of theoretical and practical development in the process of building a socialist rule-of-law state in Vietnam led by the Communist Party of Vietnam.

"This is a valuable research document with practical significance, helping cadres, party members and people of all walks of life grasp the Party's guiding viewpoints," said Mr. Dinh.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man requested the Central Propaganda Department to preside over and coordinate with the National Assembly Standing Committee, the National Political Publishing House Truth and propaganda agencies to introduce the book's content to a wide range of cadres, party members, voters and people.

"Party committees and organizations at all levels should soon organize for cadres and party members to study and thoroughly understand the content of the book; incorporate the study, thorough understanding and implementation of the Party's and General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's guiding viewpoints into the content of party cell activities," said Mr. Man.
