In the first quarter of 2025, Bac Ninh granted 66 new FDI projects.

In the first quarter, Bac Ninh granted new investment registrations to 66 FDI projects with a total registered investment capital of more than 237 million USD; adjusted capital for 41 projects with an increased adjusted capital of more than 1,240 million USD.

Provincial leaders awarded investment certificates to enterprises.

Along with that, the province has also issued 5 notices of approval for capital contribution, purchase of shares, and capital contributions of foreign investors in economic organizations with a value of 3.91 million USD. 13 projects with a total registered investment capital of 22.41 million USD have been terminated. To date, investment registration has been granted to 2,474 valid projects with a total registered investment capital after adjustment and capital contribution, purchase of shares and capital contributions reaching more than 31,310 million USD.

Regarding domestic investment attraction, in the quarter, the province granted new investment registrations for 29 projects with a total registered investment capital of nearly 120,000 billion VND (55 times higher than the same period in 2024); Granted initial registration adjustments for 34 secondary projects, including 18 projects with capital adjustment with a total investment capital increase of more than 1,100 billion VND. Up to now, Bac Ninh province has granted 1,634 valid investment registration projects with a total adjusted investment capital of nearly 400,000 billion VND.

Also in the first quarter, the province established 710 new enterprises with a total registered capital of nearly 17,600 billion VND (2.6 times higher than the same period in 2024). The average registered capital of a newly established enterprise reached 24.8 billion VND and 324 affiliated units (an increase of 32.2% over the same period). In total, the province has nearly 25,400 enterprises with a total capital of more than 442,000 billion VND and 6,477 affiliated units.
