On the basis of democratic and frank discussion and showing high consensus, at the meeting, the People's Council of Que Son district passed a Resolution on reorganizing the apparatus of specialized agencies under the District People's Committee.
Accordingly, the Department of Home Affairs was established on the basis of merging the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and the Department of Home Affairs.
Establish the Department of Agriculture and Environment on the basis of receiving the functions and tasks of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the task of poverty reduction from the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.
Establish the Department of Economics, Infrastructure and Urban Areas on the basis of receiving the functions and tasks of advising on state management of construction, traffic, and industry and trade from the Department of Economics and Infrastructure.
Establish the Department of Culture, Science and Information on the basis of receiving the functions and tasks of the Department of Culture - Information and the tasks of science and technology from the Department of Economy and Infrastructure.
The Office of the District People's Council and People's Committee receives the function of advising on state management in the fields of social protection, children and social evil prevention from the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs; transfers the functions and tasks of ethnic affairs to the Department of Home Affairs.
The Department of Education and Training receives functions and tasks in the vocational field from the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.
The Resolution takes effect from March 1, 2025. After the reorganization, Que Son District People's Committee has 9 specialized agencies (reduced by 2 agencies) including the Office of the District People's Council and People's Committee; Department of Home Affairs; Department of Justice; Inspectorate; Department of Finance - Planning; Department of Economy, Infrastructure and Urban Areas; Department of Agriculture and Environment; Department of Culture, Science and Information; Department of Education and Training.
