Quang Nam strives to complete upgrading of works of merit

On the afternoon of February 13, Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan worked with the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and related departments and branches to listen to reports on the implementation of resolutions on renovating and upgrading martyrs' cemeteries and memorial works. The meeting was connected online to localities in the province .

Overview of the working session on the afternoon of February 13

According to the report at the meeting, in the period of 2024-2026, Quang Nam approved investment, renovation and upgrading of 63 projects including 54 martyr cemeteries and 9 memorial houses. The total approved budget is more than 130 billion VND. To date, 14 projects have been completed, 48 projects are under construction, and 1 project is not implemented. According to the plan, all projects must be completed before March 24, 2025.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan emphasized: this is a project with deep humanistic values, through monitoring, many localities have fully recognized and taken drastic action. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan also requested that localities must monitor and urge contractors, take advantage of time to resolutely complete the works to ensure the committed time before March 24, 2025.
