Accordingly, from now until 2025, the province plans to spend more than 407 billion VND from the provincial budget, social security fund and socialized contributions to support the elimination of 15,735 temporary and dilapidated houses; of which 8,675 new houses will be built and 7,060 houses will be repaired.
Specifically, more than VND 272 billion was supported to build 2,314 new houses; repair and upgrade 4,460 houses for policy households, people with revolutionary contributions, and martyrs' relatives in 18 districts, towns, and cities. More than VND 36 billion was supported to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for 576 poor households (330 new houses were built and 237 houses were repaired and upgraded) and 215 near-poor households (95 new houses were built and 120 houses were repaired and upgraded) in 12 districts, towns, and cities that are not poor districts. The support level for these two groups of people is VND 60 million/1 newly built house and VND 30 million/1 repaired house.
In 6 poor districts including Phuoc Son, Tay Giang, Nam Giang, Dong Giang, Nam Tra My and Bac Tra My, 8,179 households will be supported to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, including 7,606 poor households (5,650 newly built houses; 1,956 repaired and upgraded houses), 573 near-poor households (286 newly built houses; 287 repaired and upgraded houses). The support level for this group of subjects, in addition to the support capital from the National Target Program, will be supported with an additional 14 million VND/1 newly built house and 7 million VND/1 repaired house.
