The historical site of Ben Vam Lung (in Hamlet 8, Rach Goc town, Ngoc Hien district) is a place that records the silent feats of soldiers on the "Unnumbered Train" that traveled thousands of kilometers by sea, transporting weapons to support the southern battlefield during the years of the resistance war against the US to save the country, creating the miracle of the Ho Chi Minh Trail at sea. The historical site of Ben Vam Lung is also associated with the birth of the military unit with the code name "Group 962" (established on September 19, 1962) with the task of protecting the safety of trains entering and leaving the wharf, secretly receiving, hiding weapons and transporting weapons to the liberation army units to serve the fight.
Currently, the relic site is being renovated and upgraded, the campus, exhibition house, fence; the incense house is being repaired and decorated with some items such as: steles engraved with the names of heroic martyrs, memorial tablets of heroic martyrs, paintings, photos, a set of five objects, interior, plans to modify parallel sentences, reliefs inside...
The task of renovation and upgrading is assigned to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Ngoc Hien district.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also noted that not only for this relic site, but also for other relic sites, there needs to be clear decentralization and responsibility for that decentralization. Those who do direct management work must do it with their hearts. The relic site must be clean, and associations and organizations must be mobilized to "generally mobilize" to clean up.
