National Joint Stock Auction Company No. 5 has just announced the temporary suspension of land use rights auctions for 27 plots of land in the following areas: Ha Khau copper area, Dong Danh - Dong Coc area, Dong Bo - Dong Chuc - Cua Cau - Dong Men area; Chua Sau area and Duoc area in three wards, including: Phu Luong, Yen Nghia and Duong Noi, Ha Dong district (Hanoi) on September 7.
The unit said that the suspension of the auction was carried out at the request of the Ha Dong District Construction Investment Project Management Board. The organization of the auction will be carried out in accordance with regulations immediately after the decision of the competent authority.
Previously, the auction company coordinated with the Ha Dong District Construction Investment Project Management Board to announce the auction of these 27 plots of land. The auctioned plots have an area of 48-72 m2, with starting prices of 22.7-32.2 million VND/m2. The deposit for each plot ranges from over 200 to 400 million VND.

The auction is conducted in the form of direct voting in multiple rounds and through a minimum of 5-11 mandatory rounds, depending on the land.
Previously, Hoai Duc district also announced the suspension of the auction on August 26 for 20 plots of land LK01, LK02 and the auction on September 9 for 32 plots of land LK05, LK06.
According to the announcement, customers who have registered to participate in the auction and have purchased documents and paid in advance will have their documents reserved or their money refunded according to regulations. The time to continue organizing the auction will be announced later by the People's Committee of Hoai Duc district.
In Official Dispatch 82/CD-TTg, the Prime Minister said that recently, some localities have successfully organized land use rights auctions, contributing to additional revenue for local budgets.
However, some cases where the winning auction price is many times higher than the starting price, and some unusually high cases reported by the media, are attracting great public attention and may impact socio-economic development, the investment and business environment, and the housing and real estate market.
The Prime Minister requested the Chairmen of the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities to direct functional agencies and units to review the organization of land use rights auctions in the area to ensure compliance with the law, publicity and transparency.
The Minister of Natural Resources and Environment shall preside over and coordinate with the Ministers of Justice, Finance, Construction and Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities to urgently review and inspect the organization of land use rights auctions in cases showing unusual signs, and handle violations according to their authority...
