Attending the Forum were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; leaders of the Provincial Police, the Departments of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Information and Communications, Education and Training, Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Provincial Youth Union and 50 students representing hundreds of thousands of children in the province participating in the provincial children's forum.
Speaking at the forum, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Pham Thi Minh Hien said: The forum aims to create opportunities for children to express their opinions and recommendations to leaders of agencies, departments and organizations on issues related to children. Thereby contributing to better implementing the goal of protecting and caring for children.
Children deliver messages to leaders of departments and agencies
Participating in the forum, 50 students from 9 districts, towns and cities and the Phu Yen Young Reporters Club presented the results of discussions and developed communication products on the following topics: Children with the issue of preventing and combating child violence and school violence; children with the issue of preventing and combating child sexual abuse; children with the issue of preventing violence and child abuse on the Internet; children with the issue of ensuring a safe living environment for children, preventing accidents and injuries, preventing underwater...
At the meeting and direct dialogue with leaders of provincial departments, agencies and organizations, the children asked questions about issues that children are interested in in life and received specific answers.
On this occasion, children's representatives presented messages (recommendations) of the 2023 Provincial Children's Forum to leaders of provincial departments, branches, sectors and organizations. The messages (recommendations) of children at the forum will help leaders at all levels, sectors and specialized agencies in developing and planning relevant provincial policies suitable for children in the coming time.
