Recently, on social networks, there have been many scams through the form of recruiting online collaborators, recruiting employees to work from home...
By creating fake Facebook pages of brands and e-commerce sites such as Tiki, Lazada, Tokyolife, Shopee..., the subjects posted notices recruiting collaborators to process orders for e-commerce platforms to commit acts of property appropriation.
Ms. Ng in my neighborhood was gullible and wanted to make quick money so she fell into the trap. When she texted to ask how to become a collaborator, the subject sent her information about the company, customer service staff... and then asked her to send her personal information, add her to Zalo for consultation. Initially, the subject sent links (links) of products with small value, about a few hundred thousand VND for Ms. Ng to choose and verify the order, take photos of the order and send them via Zalo, Facebook, transfer money to the accounts provided by the subject and the subject transferred back the entire amount spent on the purchase along with a commission of 3-20%.
After several times of building trust by paying the principal and commission as initially committed, the subject said "you have been upgraded by the company" and sent product links on Lazada, Shopee... with higher value and continued to ask Ms. Ng to take pictures of the products and transfer money. Once received, the subject continued to inform Ms. Ng that she had to continue performing other tasks to be transferred back the money and commission and finally appropriated all of Ms. Ng's money.
Everyone needs to be vigilant, don't fall into similar scam traps.
