Announcing some outstanding socio-economic results of the country, the Deputy Prime Minister said that in the common difficulties of the world after the COVID-19 pandemic, Vietnam has emerged as a country that has quickly recovered and developed its socio-economic development with impressive growth in the region and the world. The fields of agriculture, industry, trade, services, etc. continue to achieve good results. Vietnam, including Bac Ninh, continues to be the destination of many high-tech investors. The agricultural sector is not only an important pillar of the economy, but also contributes to ensuring global food security.

"The country's results and achievements are thanks to the support, encouragement, solidarity, consensus, and strict implementation of the Party and State's policies and guidelines by the people," said Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha.

The Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated the work of taking care of the lives of people with meritorious services, policy families, and disadvantaged and vulnerable groups in Bac Ninh province. From an agricultural province that quickly shifted to an industrial one, attracting a large number of workers from other provinces to work, Bac Ninh has made many efforts, attempts, and determination to overcome difficulties and challenges to ensure social security, labor production, for workers, laborers, and people, especially during the time affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bac Ninh is the locality chosen by the Prime Minister to dialogue with workers, since then, many mechanisms and policies have been issued to improve workers' lives in terms of housing, healthcare, education, etc.

This is a condition for Bac Ninh to implement Resolution 42/NQ-TW on continuing to innovate and improve the quality of social policies, meeting the requirements of the cause of building and defending the Fatherland in the new period to better care for the material and spiritual life of people with meritorious services, policy families, the elderly, the poor, vulnerable groups, etc., creating better access to basic social services in health care, education, etc.

The Deputy Prime Minister added that after the National Assembly passes the revised Land Law, housing will be guaranteed for policy families, workers, low-income people, and those in difficult circumstances.

With the attention of the Party and State, the Deputy Prime Minister hopes that the business community and people will actively participate in caring for and supporting each other so that everyone and every family can celebrate the traditional Lunar New Year of the nation happily, warmly, peacefully and happily.

Also on the afternoon of January 19, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother Vu Thi Xuan, born in 1931, in Hien Luong quarter, Phu Luong ward, Que Vo town, whose two sons are martyrs; the family of Mr. Nguyen Ke Hoa, born in 1947, a 2/4 class disabled soldier in quarter 1, Tien An ward, Bac Ninh city.

Kindly asking about the health and life of mother Vu Thi Xuan and war invalid Nguyen Ke Hoa, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha expressed his gratitude and respect for the sacrifices and contributions of the heroic martyrs and war invalids for the independence, freedom and reunification of the country, for the peace and happiness of the people and for the prosperity of the Fatherland.

The Deputy Prime Minister hopes that mother Vu Thi Xuan, war invalid Nguyen Ke Hoa, will always live happily and healthily, continue to be exemplary in implementing and mobilizing people to well implement the policies and laws of the Party and State, encourage their children and grandchildren to well implement the policies and guidelines of the Party and the State, actively and enthusiastically study, work and produce, and build a prosperous and happy life.

Mother Vu Thi Xuan, war invalid Nguyen Ke Hoa was moved to always receive the attention and care of the Party and State leaders, as well as local authorities; and will always be a shining example, a spiritual support for her children, grandchildren, and local people.
