Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha directed the completion of three important decrees on land.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha acknowledged and highly appreciated the active, direct, and substantial participation of leaders of ministries, branches, localities, representatives of associations, businesses, experts, etc. in the development, contribution, and completion of sub-law documents, especially the 2024 Land Law, the Law on Real Estate Business, and the Housing Law to take effect from August 1, 2024.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that law making must be closely related to reality, for the sake of reality and to solve reality, so even though it takes time and effort, we will solve difficulties in the process of law enforcement. This is the way for localities, ministries, branches, associations, businesses and people to participate in perfecting legal documents to protect the legitimate interests of businesses, people and develop the economy and society.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to coordinate with relevant ministries and branches to absorb comments at the meeting to supplement and complete the draft Decree to ensure consistency and unity, avoiding conflicts with other laws in the legal system; especially the contents related to many different laws such as regulations on sea encroachment; consistency and unity in decentralization and delegation of powers in land management; determining projects for natural disaster prevention and response to climate change with areas of sea encroachment; the application of provisions on land requisition in emergency situations, natural disaster prevention and control or force majeure situations.

The Deputy Prime Minister also noted that ministries and branches urgently review, develop and complete circulars guiding the implementation of the Decree detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Land Law; inspect and closely coordinate with localities in developing and promulgating documents and decisions stipulated in the law...
