Ham Tan: Propaganda and mobilization of farmers to participate in OCOP products

At the training courses, the farmer members were introduced by the reporter to an overview of the OCOP program; introduced some typical OCOP products in the district in particular and the province in general such as: Thang Hai longan, Suoi Gieng Taiwanese mango, Hoa Loc Tan Xuan mango, Ensolife Tan Thang loofah and Song Phan dried chili powder... Thereby, introducing the cycle, process of evaluating and scoring OCOP products; practicing building a proposal form for new product ideas, product appraisal and evaluation of OCOP products. At the same time, emphasizing that the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program is a meaningful program, contributing to improving the effectiveness of the movement "Farmers compete in good production and business, unite to help each other get rich and reduce poverty sustainably".

Through training courses, farmer members will identify the role and objectives of the OCOP program, which is to develop commodity production, serve the national target program on building new rural areas and research and select key products to develop agricultural products. This activity also aims to promote the role of the Association as the center and core in farmers' movements and building new rural areas. Thereby, with the efforts of the OCOP program, it has been contributing to promoting the rural economy , increasing people's income, promoting agricultural restructuring associated with the development of rural industries and services.
