According to Deputy Head of the Department of Cultural Lifestyle Management, Nguyen Duy Kien, the plan aims to implement the tasks in Decision No. 1085/QD-TTg of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism approving the Plan to build a model of building cultural life for ethnic minorities in 2024. Thereby, building and replicating a pilot model of preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values of the Co Tu ethnic group in association with building a grassroots cultural life.
At the same time, foster and improve knowledge and professional skills for officials working in grassroots cultural work; improve the level of cultural enjoyment and creativity for the Co Tu ethnic community. Propaganda to raise people's sense of responsibility in building a healthy cultural environment; preserve and exploit traditional cultural values of regions and ethnic groups, and link to the development of sustainable community tourism.
Training course on building grassroots cultural life
The specific tasks and implementation contents in this period include: Training on building grassroots cultural life with the participation of nearly 100 trainees who are cultural officers, heads of departments, commune unions; village chiefs, clan chiefs and people in Ta Bhing commune.
At the training course, representatives of the Department of Grassroots Culture disseminated and propagated the contents of Party documents and State laws on building "Cultural families", "Cultural villages and residential groups", "Typical communes, wards and towns", and implementing civilized lifestyles in weddings, funerals, festivals and community cultural activities.
At the same time, guide the Co Tu ethnic people to choose the content and methods to preserve and promote the beauty of traditional culture; eliminate backward customs and practices; practice a civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals and festivals, aiming to build a civilized lifestyle and a healthy cultural environment.
Provide guidance on implementation skills, organization forms, and activities of traditional folk culture clubs. In addition, invite knowledgeable artisans to participate in classes teaching unique folk songs and dances of the Co Tu ethnic group in community cultural activities.
The Department of Grassroots Culture also selected and gathered students who were capable of performing traditional folk songs and dances to build a traditional art club; guided the issuance of decisions to establish, develop regulations for the operation and maintenance of the folk song and dance club for Ta Bhing commune. Organized the club's launch, exchange and handover of costumes, props, and supporting musical instruments for the club.
Organize visual propaganda activities to build a healthy cultural environment; practice civilized lifestyles in weddings, funerals and community cultural activities; preserve and promote traditional cultural values of the Co Tu ethnic group.
