Group of men and women found 'high' at karaoke bar

On January 22, information from the Office of the Investigation Police Agency of Hung Yen Province said that this unit had just broken up a case of illegal drug use, discovering many young men and women "flying and shaking" at a karaoke bar.

Previously, at around 4:00 p.m. on January 20, a working group of the Office of the Investigation Police Agency, Hung Yen Provincial Police, in coordination with Pham Ngu Lao Commune Police (Kim Dong District) conducted an inspection at VIP room 03, 1st floor of Ven Song karaoke bar (in Tien Quan village, Pham Ngu Lao commune, Kim Dong district) owned by Ly Ngoc Duc (40 years old, residing at the above address).

During the inspection at VIP room 03, 12 young men and women were found "dancing" to loud music, showing signs of illegal drug use. The authorities conducted a quick test on the group, and 11 people tested positive for drugs.

At the karaoke room, the police discovered on the table in the middle of the room a porcelain plate with white crystalline powder on the surface; a white plastic bag with a red border and a smiley face on the body of the bag; a white plastic bag with a red border and some related evidence.

Through the investigation, the group of young men initially confessed that the above drugs were provided by a female employee at the karaoke bar, Dang Thi Le (18 years old, residing in Son Trung village, Huong Son commune, Quang Binh district, Ha Giang), 3 pills of drugs (candy form) and 2 plastic bags of "ke" drugs in VIP singing room 03 for female employee Phung Thi Hang (32 years old, residing in Gay hamlet, Trung Son commune, Yen Lap district, Phu Tho) to "cook ke" for everyone in the singing room to use.

The Office of the Investigation Police Agency of Hung Yen Province is continuing to consolidate the case file and handle the case according to regulations.
