Striving for 400,000 people to apply AI in production

At the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huy Dung emphasized: In the context of economic growth in the first quarter not meeting expectations, the province needs to have breakthrough solutions to compensate for the decline in some areas, especially export and industrial production. One of the strategic directions identified is to improve the labor productivity of the entire population through the application of AI in life and production and business practices.

Thai Nguyen province currently has about 400,000 workers outside industrial zones, including farmers, individual businesses, and freelance workers - this is a force that needs to be popularized with knowledge and skills in using AI. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested units to accelerate the implementation of the program until the end of June 2025, striving to form a community of 400,000 people capable of applying AI to labor and production.

At the conference, Mr. Le Cong Thanh, CEO of Information Selection Technology Joint Stock Company (Infore), a lecturer who directly instructed the classes, said: There are currently over 6,000 people participating in the group "Xu Tra learns AI" on the online platform. If organized systematically according to a network of learning groups at the grassroots level, the goal of 400,000 learners is completely feasible.

Based on the solutions and recommendations of experts and the discussions of relevant departments and branches, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned each commune-level unit, each mass organization such as the Farmers' Association, Women's Union, Youth Union, Trade Union, etc. to select core forces to spread the movement of learning and using AI throughout the province. The goal is to complete the formation of a learning community network by April 30 and by the end of May, all students will apply knowledge into practice; after this time, the Provincial People's Committee will assign the Provincial Statistics Office to assess the level of contribution of AI to the growth index in the second quarter of 2025.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed: The movement of all people learning AI, if effectively implemented, will not only contribute to increasing labor productivity but also be a model for the whole country in implementing Resolution 57 on developing science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.
