On February 5, the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises (SCMC) in coordination with Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR) held a ceremony to announce the decision to re-appoint Mr. Le Bang An as a member of VNR's Board of Members. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Canh, Vice Chairman of SCMC, Mr. Dang Sy Manh, Party Secretary, Chairman of VNR's Board of Members; Mr. Hoang Gia Khanh, General Director of VNR, and many representatives of VNR's professional departments, trade unions, and employees.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Canh acknowledged and highly appreciated Mr. Le Bang An's important contributions to the development of Vietnam Railways in recent years. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Canh emphasized the great tasks and upcoming challenges of the Railway industry, and expressed his hope that in the new term, Mr. Le Bang An will continue to promote his capacity, qualities, intelligence, and responsibility, to work with the Board of Directors and employees of VNR to successfully complete all assigned tasks, bringing Vietnam Railways to develop strongly, reaching the regional level, and actively contributing to the socio-economic development of the country.
In his response, Mr. Le Bang An expressed his sincere thanks to all the leaders of the VNR Management Board, VNR leaders and all employees of the Corporation for their trust and confidence in continuing to entrust him with important responsibilities and tasks at the Board of Members. He also expressed his deep thanks to all comrades and colleagues - those who have supported and always stood side by side with him and the VNR leadership team to successfully complete all assigned tasks and together strive, innovate and create for the development of the Railway industry. Mr. Le Bang An expressed his wish that in this term, he and the Board of Directors and employees of VNR will continue to promote the strength of solidarity and collective intelligence to bring Vietnam Railways to more outstanding achievements, marking a period of development and advancement of Vietnam Railways.
This is Mr. Le Bang An's second term at the VNR Board of Members. He is one of the members of the new generation of leaders of VNR, and has made many contributions to the image of an innovative, dynamic, creative, and daring railway industry.
