Due to the rising water level of Cau River, which poses a risk to the safety of Dap Cau Bridge and vehicles traveling on the bridge (a road bridge shared with a railway), the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has directed the relevant agencies to prohibit all vehicles from participating in traffic on the road bridge section from Bac Ninh to Bac Giang from 10:30 a.m. on September 11.
The traffic diversion plan is as follows: Vehicles traveling from Bac Ninh city to Bac Giang move to DT.295B, cross Thi Cau bridge to Bac Giang.
In the field of inland waterways, the Inland Waterways Sub-Department of Region I has just announced the restriction of inland waterway traffic at Dap Cau Bridge, Ho Bridge and some railway bridges in Bac Giang province due to heavy rain and floods, high water levels and high flow rates. Traffic restrictions will be from 5:30 p.m. on September 10 until further notice.
In addition, Bac Ninh province also banned passenger vans with 9 seats or more and trucks with a load capacity of ≥ 15 tons from passing through Ho Bridge from 12:00 on September 11.
The authorities divide the traffic as follows: Vehicles going from Bac Ninh city to Hai Duong, Hung Yen and vice versa on National Highway 38: From Bac Ninh city, take National Highway 38 to the intersection of National Highway 38 with Provincial Road 287 → turn right to the intersection of Provincial Road 287 with Provincial Road 276 (Kinh Duong Vuong bridge approach road) → turn left to cross Kinh Duong Vuong bridge to the intersection with National Highway 17 → turn left to the intersection with National Highway 38 → turn right to Hai Duong, Hung Yen.
Previously, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province signed a document prohibiting automobiles from traveling through the temporary bridge of Net bridge (Km77+00) of DT.295 road from 10:00 p.m. on September 10.
