Female teacher proposed to transfer to more difficult area because of extra teaching

(Dan Tri) - The leaders of the Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh city sent an official dispatch requesting the city People's Committee to transfer a female primary school teacher to a more difficult area because she violated regulations on extra teaching and learning.

On December 14, the Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh city, Ha Tinh province, said that the unit had sent a report to the Chairman of the City People's Committee about the violation of teacher Nguyen Thi T., a first grade teacher at Tran Phu Primary School, Ha Tinh city.

Specifically, on the evening of December 4, the inspection team of the City Department of Education and Training received information from people reporting that teacher T. organized illegal extra classes for primary school students.

On December 5, the City Department of Education and Training invited teacher T. and the Principal of Tran Phu Primary School to discuss and gather information.

During the meeting, the female teacher confirmed that the information reported by the parents was true and had made a written report.

Next, Tran Phu Primary School reported on organizing a review meeting in the Party Cell and disciplining party member Nguyen Thi T..

According to the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh city, Ms. Nguyen Thi T.'s behavior violated the cases of not being allowed to teach extra classes according to the regulations in Clause 1, Clause 2, Article 4, Circular No. 17/2012 dated May 16, 2012 of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Specifically, this Circular stipulates that no extra teaching is allowed for students whose schools have organized two sessions per day; no extra teaching is allowed for primary school students, except in cases of training in arts, sports, and life skills training.

From there, this unit proposed that the Principal of Tran Phu Primary School establish a Disciplinary Council, organize a review, and take disciplinary action against violating officials according to regulations; review the responsibility of the head and individuals related to the violation of teacher Nguyen Thi T..

Along with that, the leaders of the Department of Education and Training requested the People's Committee of Ha Tinh city to transfer teachers who violated the law to more difficult areas to serve as a deterrent for the entire industry.
