The decision to apply the current land price list means that more than 8,800 pending tax records will be cleared.

This is the information thousands of people have been waiting for all this time.

Temporarily apply current land price list

Specifically, in document 5635 on resolving financial obligations and land taxes in Ho Chi Minh City, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee stated that it considered the report and proposal of the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department in document No. 52 dated September 17 and the consensus at the meeting on the same day. At the same time, based on the proposal of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment in official dispatch No. 9482 dated September 19, 2024, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee submitted a document asking for the opinion of the Party Executive Committee to resolve the above content.

Implementing and implementing the consensus at the meeting of the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee today, September 21, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee agreed that during the period when Ho Chi Minh City has not issued a new land price list, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee approved the use of the land price list issued under the 2013 Land Law (multiplied by the land price adjustment coefficient according to Decision 56/2023) as implemented before August 1 to resolve financial obligations and land taxes in the period from August 1 until the issuance of the new land price list.

The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee assigned the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department, according to its functions and tasks, to urgently coordinate with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the Department of Finance and related units to implement the settlement of outstanding land records arising from August 1.

From there, calculate financial obligations, taxes and other relevant legal regulations (land use fees, land rent, personal income tax from real estate transfers and land revenues).

This document was sent to the heads of departments and agencies of Ho Chi Minh City and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thu Duc City and districts this afternoon, September 21.

More than 8,800 land records were cleared.

Thus, after more than 1.5 months of waiting, the remaining land records in Ho Chi Minh City will be officially cleared.

Recently, due to the failure to issue a land price list, there has been a huge bottleneck in resolving land transfer, donation, inheritance, and land use purpose change records...

The Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department has sent three petitions to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee proposing solutions to remove obstacles. Most recently, on September 16, the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department urgently requested the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to organize a meeting to resolve land records from August 1, 2024.

According to statistics from the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department, from August 1 to August 27, this place received a total of 8,808 records. Of which, there were 346 records of land use fee collection in cases of land use right recognition, and 277 records of land use fee collection in cases of land use purpose change.

In addition, there are 5,448 personal income tax records from real estate transfers and 2,737 records in cases where no financial obligations arise.
