The river meanders between the soft and graceful limestone mountains like a silk strip on the shoulders of a young girl, the boats carrying tourists to enjoy the spring scenery leisurely glide on the water, the sound of oars gently drifting in the quiet scene. Ninh Binh has long been famous not only as an attractive destination, a place where many travel agencies bring domestic and international tourists to visit, explore and experience, but the influence of the ancient capital is increasingly stronger when the authorities at all levels put a lot of effort into the determination to bring the image of Ninh Binh Tourism to "cover" more widely on the international tourism map. A series of specific solutions, close to reality, have been implemented; not only as guidelines and orientations but also through mechanisms, policies and environments to create a legal corridor to promote tourism development, becoming a key economic sector in the local economic structure.
Thanks to that, Ninh Binh tourism is becoming more and more prominent, creating a special attraction with the convergence of many types of tourism, from spiritual, historical, cultural to ecological, resort, experience tourism... Many unique products are continuously launched to promote the outstanding values of tourism resources. Along with that, the quality of products and services is constantly improved, which is the clearest evidence for the strategic goal from "width" to "depth" that the province has built.
Since 2017, Ninh Binh has coordinated with the Institute for Tourism Development Research (Vietnam National Administration of Tourism) and EU Project experts to develop the Ninh Binh Tourism Master Plan to 2025 with a vision to 2030, which has since been adjusted to suit the practical situation. Accordingly, Ninh Binh has 8 tourism spaces according to functional zones. Many tourism products have been affirmed in the domestic and international markets, becoming typical products, pillars of the province, contributing to the formation of Ninh Binh tourism brand such as: Trang An Eco-tourism Area, Tam Coc - Bich Dong, Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, Bai Dinh Pagoda, Cuc Phuong National Park... Besides, many cultural and culinary events and festivals have been built and developed into outstanding tourism products such as: Hoa Lu Festival, Trang An, Tam Coc - Trang An Golden Tourism Week, Trang An Heritage Connection Festival... The image and brand of these products are closely associated with the image and brand of Ninh Binh tourism, complementing each other, creating attraction for tourists.
Ninh Binh has a night market - a form of entertainment, cuisine, and shopping that attracts tourists. The Kenh Ga - Van Trinh hot spring area is currently building a 72-hole golf course, casino, resort villas... to meet the increasing demand of domestic and international tourists.
