Binh Gia is a poor mountainous district of Lang Son province. The whole district has 18 communes and 1 town, of which 12 communes are extremely disadvantaged, 92/142 villages are extremely disadvantaged. As of December 31, 2024, the district has 22 newly built houses and 22 houses under repair. The total cost of implementing the Program is more than 2.4 billion VND.
In 2025, after review, Trang Dinh district still has 271 households belonging to poor households, near-poor households, and meritorious people who need to repair and build new houses, with a total minimum implementation cost of over 14 billion VND. Of which, 50 households are in especially difficult circumstances and cannot afford to pay for the implementation. Implementing the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, Lang Son Provincial Party Committee issued Resolution No. 188 dated October 25, 2024 on implementing the program to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for households with revolutionary contributions, policy families, poor and near-poor households and people affected by natural disasters and climate change in the province, with the goal of completing support for 2,472 households in the subjects.
According to the report on the implementation of Resolution No. 188-NQ/TU of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, up to now, the whole province has mobilized a total budget of 177 billion VND (including cash and in-kind) to support the program; completed the construction of 928 new houses, and repaired more than 1,000 houses.
According to the approved plan of the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Lang Son Province in 2025, the need to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for meritorious people, poor households, near-poor households, households affected by natural disasters, climate change and other subjects needing support to improve housing is 4,405 households, with a total cost of 224.52 billion VND.
Speaking at the launching ceremony of "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in the province in 2025, Mr. Ho Tien Thieu, Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee said: Responding to the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide" launched by the Prime Minister, with the spirit of "Millions of loving hearts - Thousands of happy roofs", in 2025, the province strives to complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households, near-poor households, and people affected by natural disasters and climate change in the province before September 30, 2025.

Therefore, Lang Son province has focused on implementing the program widely; promoting the tradition of mutual love and affection and determined to complete the program on time.
Along with that, the Steering Committees of the districts are also focusing on leading and directing the implementation of the program, clearly defining the goal of completing the program before September 30, 2025.
