Regarding the draft Law on Consumer Rights Protection (amended), there are opinions suggesting removing the phrase “not for commercial purposes” in the concept of “consumer” or replacing it with another more suitable phrase. In the subject of “vulnerable consumers”, it is proposed to add the case of women raising children under 12 months old but the child has just died and women who have just had a miscarriage. It is proposed to clearly define the responsibilities of social organizations in protecting consumers from products sold on social networks. Regarding the responsibility of state management of consumer rights protection, it is proposed to add the content of “unified guidance on organizing local Consumer Rights Protection Associations” to the responsibility of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Conference delegates
Regarding the draft Law on Prices (amended), regarding the State's price appraisal activities, it is proposed that the drafting committee adjust Clause 2, Article 59 "The person with authority to consider, decide or approve prices according to the provisions of Clause 1 of this Article shall establish a Price Appraisal Council to conduct price appraisal" to "The person with authority to consider, decide or approve prices according to the provisions of Clause 1 of this Article or the agency or organization assigned the task of purchasing, selling, leasing, joint venture, association, renting assets or assigned the task of developing a contractor selection plan according to the provisions of the law on bidding shall establish a Price Appraisal Council to conduct price appraisal".
Deputy Head of the Delegation, in charge of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Dieu Huynh Sang and National Assembly deputies Vu Ngoc Long and Huynh Thanh Chung chaired the conference.
Regarding the composition of the Valuation Council, it is recommended to consider the specific composition of the Valuation Council established by the Provincial People's Committee (according to the decentralization of the Provincial People's Council) to purchase, sell, lease, joint venture, associate, and rent assets in the direction of assigning the agency, organization, or unit assigned the task of purchasing, selling, leasing, joint venture, associate, and renting assets or assigned the task of developing a contractor selection plan to be the Standing Vice Chairman of the Valuation Council (in case the leader of the Provincial People's Committee is the Chairman of the Council) or authorized to be the Chairman of the Valuation Council.

In addition, there are suggestions to adjust the price declaration form; to consider and add to the draft Law on Prices provisions guiding the valuation process for real estate assets in the past; the valuation process for assets not commonly traded on the market; intellectual property rights, works of art, relics, antiques, etc. and to clearly define the rights and obligations of organizations and individuals providing price information.
Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Dieu Huynh Sang, acknowledged 16 opinions and proposals at the conference. At the same time, he requested agencies and units to continue studying these two draft laws and send their written opinions to the Provincial National Assembly Delegation so that the delegation can synthesize and submit them to the National Assembly Standing Committee.
