Currently, it is the peak of the dry season, due to the rapid spread of fire, if a forest fire occurs in areas forecasted at level V, it will be very difficult to control and contain. Based on the actual situation, the Forest Protection Department requests the forest rangers to: Focus on implementing well the management of burning and clearing vegetation, forest management and protection, forest fire prevention and fighting in the dry season in accordance with the direction in Official Dispatch No. 1356 dated April 5, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee; proactively inspect and strictly control the burning and clearing of vegetation by people and deploy fire prevention and fighting measures; strengthen inspection, control and strictly handle violations.
At the same time, the forest rangers in charge of the area are required to actively advise the Commune Fire Prevention and Control Command to assign and arrange forces on duty 24/7; proactively mobilize forces to handle situations when forest fires occur according to the 4-on-the-spot principle; set up checkpoints at forest entrances and exits to control people entering and exiting areas with high risk of forest fires./.
