Acting Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thai Hoc and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hong Thai presented flowers and the title of Meritorious Physician to Master Tran Ngoc Trung.

Master Tran Ngoc Trung (born in 1969), when he was 20 years old, he entered the Lam Dong health sector as a nurse at Lam Ha District Health Center. He spent 10 years directly caring for patients, working as Head Nurse, Secretary of the Youth Union, Vice Chairman of the Grassroots Trade Union (CĐCS) of Lam Ha Health Center. Next were 2 stages of a total of 19 years working at Lam Dong Department of Health with positions such as Deputy Head of Medical Affairs Department, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Department of Health, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial Nursing Association, Chief of Office of the Department of Health, Vice Chairman of the Industry Union, Head of Nursing Department of Health, Deputy Secretary of the Office Party Cell - Organization of cadres of the Department of Health. Between the two journeys of “going to and coming from the Department of Health” were 5 years of his work at Lam Dong Medical College, holding the positions of Head of Organization - Administration Department, Chairman of the Trade Union, Secretary of the Nursing - Medical Technology Department Party Cell, Head of General Department and Head of Nursing - Medical Technology Department. Up to now, after 34 years of working in the health sector, he has completed his studies to improve his professional qualifications with a Bachelor of Nursing and a Master of Hospital Management.

Master Tran Ngoc Trung shared: “In 34 years working in the Lam Dong health sector, I myself have been a nurse directly caring for patients, a nursing lecturer and participating in nursing management as Deputy Head of the Medical Professional Department, Head Nurse of the Department of Health, Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Nursing Association. Together with Head Nurses and Nurses throughout Lam Dong province, I have built a unified solidarity in the nursing system and team, regularly inspecting, supervising and organizing many training courses on professional knowledge, techniques, communication skills, and medical ethics for thousands of nurses, contributing to the care and service of patients and the people of Lam Dong province”.

In addition, he has devoted his talent, enthusiasm and youth to the general movement activities of the Youth Union and the Trade Union, contributing greatly to the overall achievements of the Medical Union Cluster, the Lam Dong Medical Industry Trade Union and the Lam Dong Medical College Trade Union. In particular, in 2018, the Lam Dong Medical College Trade Union was awarded the Emulation Flag of Comprehensive Excellence by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. He has been awarded the title of Provincial Emulation Fighter three times and received many certificates of merit. In 2017, he was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister; in 2019, he was recognized by the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation as one of 90 typical examples with outstanding achievements in Trade Union activities in the period 2015 - 2019 and in 2020, he was honored by the Central Vietnam Nursing Association as a National Outstanding Nurse.

With many years of experience as Deputy Head of the Medical Department, Master Tran Ngoc Trung has actively advised on the implementation of medical activities in the whole province. In the assigned field, he has effectively implemented the regulations and rules of the Ministry of Health, the Department of Health, especially in nursing and patient care, and effectively implemented the two emulation movements "Lam Dong nurses communicate well, have good expertise", "Lam Dong nurses study and follow the moral example of Ho Chi Minh" bringing many practical results in patient care and service.

As Chairman of the Provincial Nursing Association, he has actively contributed to the work of building and developing the Association, gathering the solidarity of the Executive Committee and all members, implementing activities to enhance patient care, infection control, and nursing management at medical facilities. The Lam Dong Provincial Nursing Association is highly appreciated by the Vietnam Nursing Association and the Medical and Pharmaceutical Association in its activities. In 2015, the Lam Dong Provincial Nursing Association was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Central Vietnam Nursing Association. Collectives and individuals of the Association have received many certificates of merit and certificates of merit for their achievements, efforts, and attempts in caring for and serving patients at hospitals as well as in the community; actively participating in emulation movements launched by the health sector to increase patient satisfaction, making an important contribution to the movement to build excellent and comprehensively excellent units at medical examination and treatment facilities in the sector.

While working at Lam Dong Medical College, Master Tran Ngoc Trung actively led and consolidated the activities of the Organization - Administration Department and the Examination and Quality Control - Information and Communication Department. As a lecturer, in teaching, Master Tran Ngoc Trung always implemented the electronic lesson plans and implemented the training program well, every year participating in teaching at the school always exceeding the standard hours. Implemented well the processes and regulations in the process of training organization management: Regulations on the working regime of lecturers, training organization management process, enrollment organization management process, graduation exam management and organization process; toolkit for managing the teaching process at the faculty, training and fostering of cadres, civil servants, public employees...

Master Tran Ngoc Trung is the head of scientific research topics, solutions and initiatives in nursing work in the health sector such as: Evaluation of patient care quality at Lam Dong General Hospital; Evaluation of patient care activities of nurses at Lam Dong General Hospital. The topics have high practical value and have been widely deployed throughout the sector. In addition, he participated in initiatives to build a job position project of Lam Dong Medical College for the period 2014 - 2016; participated in the topic of building a testing process and surveying the effects of lemon basil leaves and the initiative of the project to open the code of the College of Pharmacy; participated in the scientific topic of Comparing long-term oxygen therapy (LTOT) and combining with Sildenafil and Simvastatin in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) with hypoxia at rest in patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension...
