Over the past two days, a clip has been circulating on social media of an alleged illegal Vietnamese worker in Taiwan (China) being seriously injured while fleeing from the police.
According to information posted in the clip, when the three men were picking tea, a group of people wearing Taiwanese police uniforms appeared. Upon seeing the police, the three men immediately ran away.

One person runs past the tea row to move to the right, two people run straight, then take turns jumping down below.
In another clip, two men were seen lying motionless after falling into the abyss. Local authorities mobilized people and equipment to rescue the workers. The two men were later brought out of the abyss with serious injuries.
According to Mr. Hoang Minh, a Nghe An worker working in Taiwan, the incident happened in Minh Chen, Taichung on September 17.
According to information provided by Mr. Minh, the 3 men in the clip were illegal workers, so when they discovered the police, they ran away. Thinking that the area ahead was a dense bush where they could hide, 2 of the 3 men jumped in and fell straight to the bottom of the abyss.

"The area where the two workers had an accident is about 60m deep," Mr. Minh informed.
Currently, the Vietnamese labor community in Taiwan has not yet determined the identities of the two victims.
However, a source said that one of the two workers mentioned above is from a central province, came to Taiwan as a tourist and has been staying illegally to work for about half a month now.
