Sharing at the program, Phan Thi Thuy (grade 12, Dao ethnic group, Center for Vocational Education - Continuing Education of Vi Xuyen district) said that her house is more than 50km from the school, her parents are farmers and do not know Kinh language, so Thuy has to stay in the dormitory every week to study. In her free time when she is not in class, Thuy takes advantage of the time to go to the market to paste votive offerings for hire, carry goods for hire, earning about 50,000 VND/session to cover her tuition fees, buy more food for her family, and buy clothes for her mother. "At the same time, each meal at school is supported with 2,000 VND, we only eat rice with vegetable soup, so we have to try to work extra to improve our meals, and nurture our dream of going to university," Thuy said.
