The setting chosen by the film crew for the film "The Ghost Lamp" is Trung Khanh district, Cao Bang province. Most of the film was filmed at Co La waterfall located in Chi Vien commune, Trung Khanh district.
This waterfall is about 30m high, consisting of three levels of clear blue water, pouring down like a symphony in the middle of the quiet mountains and forests, the scenery is as beautiful as a watercolor painting. The beauty of Co La waterfall is likened to a daughter of the mountainous region with passion but strong and wild.
In the wild and beautiful landscape like a watercolor painting, the waterfall pours down white foam, creating a sound that is sometimes loud, sometimes clear. In the almost absolute quiet of the mountains and forests, the harmony of the waterfall's sound becomes more resounding and vivid than ever.
After reaching the waterfall, the river flows slowly around bamboo hedges and fertile fields built up by alluvium towards the big river.
In addition, Am The cave - a natural cave with a very small entrance, only enough for one person to move through at a time - is also the place director Hoang Nam chose as the filming location.
