Through the Nestlé MILO brand, Nestlé Vietnam cooperates with the Department of Primary Education, Ministry of Education and Training to officially launch the Nutrition and Exercise Education Program for primary school students for the 2024-2025 school year.

Within the framework of the Program, Nestlé Vietnam and the MILO brand have donated 3 computer rooms to primary schools in Yen Bai province (Khao Mang Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities; Pung Luong Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities) and Lao Cai province (Ta Giang Phin Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities). Implemented since 2021, the Program aims to contribute to improving the quality of life for everyone, for today and for future generations. In the 2024-2025 school year, Nestlé MILO donated 3 computer rooms to 3 schools with each school principal receiving 20 laptops. The donation of computers aims to facilitate students, teachers and schools to access information technology, improve computer skills and create new and interesting learning experiences, helping schools in remote areas with many difficulties gradually approach national standard school standards as well as digital school models. Mr. Thai Van Tai, Director of the Department of Primary Education, Ministry of Education and Training, said that the donation of computer rooms to schools in mountainous areas is part of the Nutrition Education and Mobilization Program for Primary School Students with the hope that teachers and primary school students in mountainous areas will have an improved learning experience. Ms. Le Bui Thi Mai Uyen, Director of MILO and Milk, Nestlé Vietnam, shared: “We are honored to accompany the Ministry of Education and Training in the Program, bringing practical values to students across the country, especially in disadvantaged areas. In addition to providing MILO nutritious barley milk combined with physical activities, equipping computer rooms also helps students access new knowledge, inspires a passion for learning, contributes to building endurance in both mind and body, thereby creating a more dynamic and resilient generation of young Vietnamese people". With a long-term commitment to accompany the young generation of Vietnam to develop comprehensively in both body and mind, over the past three decades, Nestlé MILO has implemented many programs such as: Nutrition Education and Exercise Program for Primary School Students to enhance knowledge about nutrition and encourage students to participate in physical activities; Dynamic Vietnam program to support school physical activities and sports movements such as Phu Dong Sports Festival, swimming and athletics competitions, along with Aerobics, football, basketball, Vovinam, etc. Through these programs, Nestlé MILO hopes to promote sportsmanship and health training for children. During the 2021-2023 period, through the Program, 33.4 million primary school students in more than 34,000 schools nationwide have received nutritional supplements and participated in physical activities with Nestlé MILO.
