The unbelievable price to see Lionel Messi make his Inter Miami debut

Many fans spent $110,000 (equivalent to VND2.5 billion) to watch Messi's debut match for Inter Miami on July 21.

The fever for tickets to see Lionel Messi's debut match in Inter Miami has seen ticket prices skyrocket, even unbelievable. According to Goal , ticket prices to DRV PNK Stadium have become scarce and increased abnormally in recent days.

The average price for a ticket to the Cruzl Azul match was $487, which is more than double the price when Inter Miami played La Liga champions Barcelona in a friendly last summer.

But Vivid Seats (a website specializing in searching for and reselling football tickets) is currently selling them for $110,000 (equivalent to VND 2.5 billion).

The Sun (UK) newspaper made a comparison, with 110,000 USD (equivalent to 84,000 GBP), instead of buying a ticket to watch Messi play in his debut match for Inter Miami, fans can buy a mid-range Rolex watch or a BMW M4 Convertible supercar.

The sum could also buy a house in Morecambe Bay on the north-west coast of England to be neighbours with legendary boxer Tyson Fury.

The cheapest places to buy a house in the UK are in Middlesbrough with an average price of £55,000, in Bradford with £59,000, or £65,000 for a house in Sunderland.

£84,000 could also take someone around the world on a luxury yacht in the same time as a nine-month football season.

Accordingly, Royal Caribbean cruise is offering a 274-night voyage with 150 captivating stops around the globe.

Guests only need to spend £64,000 to get a "Balcony Room" on the cruise for one person, or £46,000 if choosing an "Indoor Room" or £50,000 for a "Sea View Room".

"A beach house, a supercar, a luxury yacht for nine months or a ticket to see Messi in Miami?", The Sun expressed shock at the price of a ticket to watch the Argentine star's debut match for Inter Miami.
